Luna Allison has been living and working in Montreal since September 2001. Her poetry is fundamentally about creating environments of vulnerability – a reflective, spiritual kind of vulnerability that makes space for true authenticity. Luna is known for her ability to engage an audience with her soulful songspeak, splicing personal experience with more universal themes. In June 2004, she self-published a collection of short fiction about girlhood called that kind of girl, and recently released her first CD, Urban Lullabies, with Wired on Words Productions.
