Luna Allison will find a way under your skin with a catchy riff or turn of phrase. A spoken word artist and jazz poet, Luna is known for her ability to captivate audiences with her soulful lullabies and hilarious diatribes. Her poetry is bold, sensual and heart-felt, reflecting a life-long interest in storytelling and jazz music. Luna released her first recording, Urban Lullabies, on the Wired on Words imprint in 2006 and has since appeared at the Bowery Poetry Club (NYC), the Nuyorican Poets' Cafe (NYC) and the Calgary International Spoken Word Festival. She also regularly features at Ian Ferrier's Words and Music series in Montreal.
